Well, here we are 2010.
We've reached our tenth year as a Motorcycle Club. It wasn't easy by any stretch of the imagination. As in any organization there are growing pains and challenges. I don't look at things that confront us as problems, I look at them as challenges. All challenges are, are something that needs correcting and then you move on because there are always new ones to face dead ahead.
Through the years we have grown from a small group of friends who met in my bike shop and drank a lot of beer to a larger group of Brothers who have a great Club House, know what true Brotherhood is all about and drink even more beer.
From our small beginning ten years ago some have left us because Club Life just wasn't their thing and we respect that. Some Members have unfortunately died and we all truely miss them. They will not be forgotten.
We ride together, we laugh together, we drink together and yes we do argue together, sometimes too much. But thats the way any family is, especially among Brothers. We don't always think the same way, but when something is for the good of the Club there should be no arguement.
We've come a long way in ten years and everyone has done some part to help. Be it manual labor or behind the scenes tasks, everyone has done some part to push our Club forward, help our Club progress and make us what we are today, a Club of Brothers who are bound by something that needs no excuses or explaination.
So to all my Brothers in the Unknown Riders Motorcycle Club I just want to say thank you for getting us here and thank you for being my Brothers.
Here's looking forward to the next ten years.
